Sunday Seminar: “Presbyterians in Cuba – Adventures in Faith,” this Sunday (November 19), 11:00 a.m., Fellowship Hall. Are Presbyterians in Cuba? YES, we have an Amazing Presence! Learn more this Sunday. Following worship, Don and Nancy Uchtmann will describe their April 2017 mission trip to Havana. They will note the history of Presbyterians in Cuba, report on their experiences as part of First Pres Champaign’s partnership with its sister church in Havana, and describe how such a trip can renew one’s faith in the power of the Holy Spirit. Don and Nancy also will update us regarding the impact of Hurricane Irma on Cuba and our Cuban brothers and sisters in Christ.
