This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
– Psalm 118:24
Rejoicing in Each Other
We enjoy each other’s company and find many ways to share time together. We offer fellowship activities of interest to our entire congregation, which often includes friends and family members.
Our church is known for its inter-generational fellowship opportunities. We enjoy church suppers, often accompanied by music from our talented members. Game night is favorite of all ages and many root for our summer softball team! And, of course, everyone wants to attend the annual summer cookout, ice cream social, and Christmas caroling party!
We also offer fellowship activities for specific age groups, such as youth and young adults.
More information on upcoming fellowship events can be found on the church calendar (on top menu bar), the Open Door Newsletter (under the “News” tab), or by contacting the church office.
The
Lord said to me, ‘Do not say, I am only a youth, for you shall go to
all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you.
– Jeremiah 1:7
Youth Fellowship Groups
Our middle and high school youth are actively engaged in our two youth fellowship groups on Sunday evenings. Both groups also are involved in local and national service.
GLU (God Loves Us, grades 6-8) and PYC (Presbyterian Youth Connection, ages 12 -18) meets twice monthly on Sunday afternoons or evenings for fellowship, sometimes in conjunction with all-church fellowship programs. Fellowship gathering often begin with prayer and a shared meal followed by fun games and activities. Favorite annual events include the corn maze, the climbing wall on campus, a lock-in, broom-ball, and chatting at a local coffeehouse.
PYC participates in a week long Go-and-Serve trip or a Youth Conference each summer. Mission trip destinations have been Kentucky, West Virginia, and New Orleans. GLU and PYC also have local service opportunities such as helping at the Twice is Nice Thrift Store and wrapping gifts to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. More information on youth mission activities is found in the Mission and Outreach section.

Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels.
