Malawi Trip Update 6/24/2018

Please continue to pray for our Malawi team, who are currently in Malawi and will be returning July 3. The delegation includes preschool expert Kathleen Liffick plus nine church members: John Dimit, Cindy Fraser, John Harden, Nathan Holder, David and Jean Oliver-Holder, Lauren Smith, and Donald and Nancy Uchtmann. The major priorities for this visit include re-energizing the shallow well project, technical assistance for the preschool operations, meeting several of our sponsored students, checking progress on the women’s sewing project, and renewing working relationships since both congregations are experiencing new lay and pastoral leadership.

Don U., John D., John H., and Nathan H., singing, and dancing with the youth choir during worship this morning. They had us all singing at the end.

The sewing school is up and running. First class is about to graduate. We will be styling with the students creations when we return.

After church with the Jeanes CCAP faithful, we visited a prayer house that Jeanes has established.

Now we’re on top of the Zomba Plateau for a evening meal with a fabulous view. AND WiFi! Time to catch up with just a few Malawi photos.
