TODAY, March 10, Stages of Life – Part I – OLLI (A Community of Learners). Janet Summers, Outreach Specialist, will discuss the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the U of I, including the benefits of life-long learning to older adults. Discussion will include the history and structure of the program; how one become a member and the many benefits of OLLI Membership.
March 17, Stages of Life – Part II – Karen Blatzer, Director of Marketing at Clark-Lindsey will talk about the four components of well-being and how they impact the aging process. She’ll share stories about successes and challenges she sees from the vast array of older adults and families she works with. She will be joined by Cindy Fraser, Home Support Coordinator at Clark-Lindsey, who will expand on insights she’s learned about how and when older adults make the decision to move to another living environment.
March 24, Stages of Life – Part III – Don Greely and Angelle Difanis – Medical Issues we face as we age, including problems with sleep.
