Sunday, January 13 — What is it like to be addicted and what can be done?

Andrew Dewey, son of Marilyn and John Dewey, will share his story of Opioid Addiction. He will go on to discuss the numbers of people affected, initiatives that work and those that don’t, the need for treatment and for legislation and how we can work as a community to create measurable change.

Sunday, January 20 – Dealing with Addiction. Cedar King will share his experience as both an addict and a counselor for addicts.

Sunday, January 27 — Living with an Addict. Cedar King, Lauren Smith and Marilyn Dewey will talk about how addiction affects the entire family. Cedar will share his experience growing up as the child of an addict; Lauren will share her experience as the wife of an alcoholic; and Marilyn will share her experience as the parent of an addict.
